A ’61 Chevy Bel Air hard top, 327, 4 sp., painted Sun gleam blue with matching metal flake interior.
After a couple of years in the Navy he bought a brand new ’69 Super Bee 383 Mag., 4 brl, 4 speed – QUICK!!!! At the same time he got a ’48 Ford PU with a 322 Buick Nail Head.
A ’57 VW with flared fenders & Chevy chromies.
Then he built a ’29 Ford Roadster, channeled with 292 Chevy (bored 283), solid lifters 2/4’s, 4 sp.
A ’59 Corvette he painted and fixed up.
A ’56 Chevy big window PU with a a 327, 4 sp., chromies and painted it Hondurus Maroon.
Then he built the Sunrise Saloon – a ’29 Ford Sedan Delivery, candy red, chromed Vette rear, 327, 400T.
Next a candy blue ’35 Ford PU, S.B.C/T-350. Another ’29 Ford Sdn Delivery candy green “Emerald Transport Co.”, another ’59 Corvette; a ’31 “A” coupe, ’31 “A” Rdst; ’40 Chevy coupe.
Myers Manx Dune Buggy; ’69 VW (1835cc, Plumb Crazy Purple, chromies & flares); ’67 Camaro 327, 4 sp.; ’72 Chevy Luv PU, 327/400T, chopped top, step side.
A ’29 tall cab PU, ’29 Ford Rdst. PU, pearl yellow, chopped w/s & wires; ’32 Ford Sedan Del. chopped, SBC/T-350 & wires.
A ’48 Ford Convertible – low, 350/350, Pearl Maroon w/tan top, another ’29 Ford Sedan Del.; ’46 Ford Convertible – chopped, rolled pans, shaved and painted bright turquoise w/dark turquoise scallops, B&M blown S/B, 700R-4.
A ’34 Ford Vicky – 2 toned silver chopped; a Candy Yellow ’29 Ford Coupe (Kathy’s car) SBC, chopped. ’33 Ford Sedan Delivery – chopped 1 1/2” filled, custom blue pearl w/’88 Vette T.P.I./700R-4, 411 rear gears.
There have been others and a few bikes – Dukati, Yamaha, Harley; OH yeah a ’46 Ford Coupe, another ’36 Ford PU, a ’73 Dart Sport 340/torque flight (new), ’64 Umpala Ss, ’68 Camaro, ’73 Javalin SST, ’65 Mustang, ’68 Coronet, another ’31 Ford Cp, ’62 Impala SS, 427 Vette Coupe, ’76 Camaro, “46 Solar Midget w/V8-60.
Then there are all the future projects in the bone yard and all the customer cars that were done in the past 30 years. You get the picture – we are involved in cars!!
We are also active in the Street Rod sport, as members of the local clubs for over 33 years. Presently with the Jefferson State Street Rods for 25 years (from the beginning), NSRA for 32 years (now a lifetime member), Goodguys and also members of SEMA.
